Hello. Thank you for your response in a private message. I didn’t leave the review because of the price, but because the issue with my car wasn’t related to the battery at all. The battery replacement was suggested without a proper diagnosis, leading to unnecessary expenses. I ended up fixing the issue elsewhere for $4,000. I appreciate your time and efforts, but I wanted to highlight the importance of accurate diagnostics before offering expensive solutions. I hope my review helps improve the service in the future.

Sad to say this was my worst repair experience ever. I wanted to have my quarter panel repaired. We coordinated a drop off time and when I arrived they said I didn't need to drop it off that they only needed to inspect it. Communication from the time that I first arrived was off to a bad start. I should've taken it as a forewarning and looked elsewhere. Ever since my car was there I've been the only one asking for updates. It's been a nightmare. Hope your experience is better than mine. I also got the car back dirty and dusty. At least the repair itself was done well enough.

Edit April 2024: I added a photo of painters tape I found from after the service and to note they offered to detail my car but never followed through. Had it detailed myself.

Edit: Added a photo of the frunk, I guess they left it open, I only noticed now because they didn't Even bother to clean up from having it sit around.

Edit 5/20/24: I keep getting calls from this shop threatening me to remove my review or they will put a lien on my vehicle since insurance has still not paid for the repair.

Edit: 1/11/25 - half a year later I began noticing what looks like folds under the paint where they repaired and repainted my driver's side quarter panel. I will be calling for an appointment to fix this. Uploaded photo, hard to see on a black car but it's there and can be felt by touch.

Where do I start? Don't take your Tesla there for repairs. For me, it went like this. A heavy branch fell on my model Y, broke the glass on the top roof and hatch, and dented the body. Tesla doesn't perform body work, and after an extensive search, I was more than happy EV's. There were small pieces of glass in the trunk and bac seat that I asked both service reps to make sure it was removed so as not to harm me or my passingers. When I first got there, there was still glass in the seat, trunk, and tiny shards on the shelves small enough to fly around if I opened a window. And on top of that, they lost the rear trunk shelf, which took 3 days for them to find it. Also, there were visible scratches under the clear coat where the body repair was performed, and I had to take my car back so they could take it to a real body shop. When I got my car back again, there was overspray on the car. I could list more major issues, but this review is long enough to get the point across. I DO NOT RECOMMEND taking your Tesla there for repairs.

Andre and the staff at EV Republic are great and took me in same day to help out with my MX P100D (Autopilot, Cruise Control stopped working for weeks and no resets would fix it!). Fixed me up and had me on my way in hours not days. Super friendly and kept updating me on progress as I sat in their lobby. Highly recommend over dealer hopefully won’t be back too soon but will be back when I need them!

Be careful with this place. I can only warn you. Classic bait and switch repair shop. Quoted a price of approx an $800 dollar repair over the phone twice before my wife drove down and dropped off her Model X for heater blowing cold air (PTC heater repair). Their plan worked, they got us down there from Reno, NV. Then when arrived and completed the diagnostic, Ryan called and advised they would not perform any work without an authorization for over $2200 due to a potential additional fuse repair. I communicated with Ryan and while he was not overly rude on the phone, he was discourteous, condescending and impatient, cutting me off several times while I asked questions. You know, overconfident that they were the only, or best deal in town. He continually stated they were offering a price that was so much cheaper than Tesla would offer. I've attached the quote for the repair from Tesla here. See for yourself. EV Republic is not cheaper. We'll stick with an official Tesla repair for the same price! EV Republic will lie to you and take advantage of you if you let them. We declined their repair, paid the $250 for the diagnostic and took our vehicle. Very displeased with this place. Be sure you check all of their reviews.

Ryan and the folks over at EV Republic completed a HV battery repair on my 2019 Model 3 SR+. The team arranged transport to and from AZ and promptly analyzed the battery for faults. Updates were communicated quickly and despite the complexity of the repair, it was finished in less than 8 days. I appreciated the professional and friendly staff and the timely repair!

Go to EV’s Republic for any repairs. Never take your car to Tesla even if it’s under warranty. Tesla will give you the run around attempting to deny any warranty repairs. EV’s Republic will get you back on the road without any BS or headaches. My Model 3 Performance would not supercharge anymore and almost got stranded on a road trip. After finding out about EV’s Republic, I drove 2.5 hours to have my car fixed here. I can’t be more happy with their service, professionalism, and knowledge.
